Your Selena Basket Bag is responsibly hand-woven in Ghana from dried elephant grass renowned for its strength and durability.

The handles are adorned with beads created by a community of single mothers in Nairobi, a community that deserves all our respect and support. Each bead is shaped from the clay of Mount Kenya and then individually fired and glazed to achieve its unique color.

An interior cotton lining with a drawstring and button closure keeps your items secure while an exterior vegetable tanned leather trim provides a sleek structure and versatility. A removable leather shoulder strap transforms the Selena from a cross-body bag into a handbag.

The creation of each basket directly supports three groups of African artisans and provides a source of income for their families.

    Measure the circumference by wrapping the tape measure around your waist.

    Measure the circumference by wrapping the tape measure around your hips.

    1. Grab a tape measure, length of string or strip of paper.
    2. Wrap it around the finger you’ll wear your ring on—if you’re creating a ring stack,
    consider where on your finger the ring will sit—and mark the place where it joins.
    3. Lay your string or paper strip on a flat surface and use a ruler to measure the length up to the mark.
